It all starts with a look — the kind only family can recognize.
I’m Sandrine. I was born in France and I’ve been living in Lima, Peru, since 2008. Ever since I was a child, I’ve felt a natural pull toward art and handmade work. For many years it was simply a hobby — something intimate and personal… I never imagined I could one day make a life from it.
Creating bonds
In 2016, I discovered something that changed everything: I could draw pets realistically. People told me I was able to capture looks and little expressions that only family truly recognizes. That’s when I understood something important: I don’t draw animals — I draw bonds.
I share my life with dogs and cats, so I know that everyday connection made of routines, mischief, and quiet companionship. That’s why each portrait is of someone who isn’t “just a pet,” but a true part of the family.
You’ve captured their gaze. That expression only we recognize.

I learned, I failed, I corrected, and I refined my technique.
Each portrait is the result of hours of observation and work. Nothing is automatic. Everything is intentional. And little by little, this dream began to take shape.
Today I work mainly with colored pencils, because they allow for an almost intimate kind of delicacy: layer by layer, the way memories are built. That essence that makes your companion unmistakably them.

A portrait forever
A portrait made to last as time moves forward—when photos no longer feel like enough, and what matters most is remembering how it felt to look at them.
I work from reference photographs, carefully honoring true color, expression, the texture of the fur, and that unique personality that makes every portrait one of a kind.
Each illustration is a tribute.
Thank you for trusting me with those you love most.
If you’d like to commission a portrait, I’ll be happy to guide you through the process.
